It's Always an Election Year in Ohio.
In 2025, we have two Primaries - May 6 and Sept. 9. The General Election is Nov. 4.
Every election, you have the choice of three ways to vote:
- Vote Early In-Person at the Board of Elections:
- Vote-by-Mail
- Vote on Election Day
- Voter Registration Information has all the details.
Questions about voting? Email katharine.montgomery@tri-c.edu in Tri-C's Office of Government Relations.
Many Ohioans have a reason to vote on Sept. 9
Six cities in Cuyahoga County will have items on the Sept. 9 Primary ballot. Is yours one of them?
- Cleveland: Liquor permits; Council Members in Wards 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 12 due to the redrawn Ward Boundaries
- Cleveland Heights: Mayor; Mayoral recall election
- East Cleveland: Mayor
- Garfield Heights: Mayor
- Lakewood: Liquor permits
- Maple Heights: Council District 7
Anyone may vote on Issues, without declaring a party. Simply request a Nonpartisan or Issues Only ballot.
